TAXES

The summer tax bills are sent out every year on July 1st. They are payable from July 1st until September 14th. Beginning September 15th a 1% interest will be added each month they are delinquent.

The winter taxes are sent out every year on December 1st. They are payable at the Township Office from December 1st to Februry 29, 2012. On March 1st, both summer and winter taxes are payable to the County Treasurer at the County Courthouse and a 5% penalty is added, plus an additional 1% per month that the taxes are delinquent.

You do not need to have your bill to come into the office to pay your taxes. We can make a copy for you. We do not accept credit or debit cards. Cash or checks only to pay taxes in person or by mail.
